Apple might debut iPhone SE 2 in May with no headphone jack

The price of new iPhone X SE will be $799, Second generation iPhone X is $899 and a new model of iPhone X Plus is $999.

Apple iPhone SE 2 is been in the rumors since a year ago but until now, we have not seen any information about this smartphone which confirms anything about the device or the specifications.

This high cost has made Apple's flagship a very premium product and one that some may struggle to justify buying.

Rumours of a new iPhone SE have been swirling for sometime now: initially it was said that the company is indeed working on a compact phone but then the rumours watered down to "Apple won't be making another compact iPhone". But by the second calendar quarter of 2018, signs of stress might be showing in iPhone X sales.

The Cupertino, Calif., company reported a decline in unit iPhone sales in the December quarter - but managed to hit revenue targets thanks to the X's stratospheric price tag. The rise of feature-rich regional smartphones at a much cheaper price remains a major headwind.

That said, iPhone X may meet its end in less than year, according to experts.

The current iPhone X measures in at 5.8-inches but this could be boosted to over 6.3-inches on the X Plus. Campling believes its the X's price that's preventing people from buying.

Morgan Stanley has downgraded Apple over concerns that iPhone demand in China is soft and could lead to a weak June quarter.

Meanwhile, a recent report had claimed that Apple could announce the iPhone SE 2 at the company's annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) which is scheduled to take place early June.

It was all enough to spook investors.

US stocks fell Friday as Apple weighed on the Dow Jones Industrial Average and offset a strong performance by General Electric. This will reduce the waiting time for the consumers of the Apple. What's more, all iPhone models combined to generate 90% of the smartphone market's profits.

The iPhone X upgrade was a must last fall, at least for me.

Additionally, the giant will remove the traditional 3.5mm AudioJack from the device to make it more modern iPhone. "While the numbers may abate a bit, it's still hot". It was Apple's first OLED phone, its first all-screen phone, and the first Face ID phone. Last December, there was speculation that Apple had cut orders for the tenth anniversary model by 40%.
