Newton police identify bank robbery suspect

A store clerk called police stating that several people entered the store and began taking items off the shelves.

Kokumo said that four of the suspects were arrested for alleged involvement in kidnapping, 11 for armed robbery and 13 for cultism.

Police want to get a unsafe robbery suspect off the streets.

Newton police have identified the 50-year-old man suspected of robbing a local bank on Monday. The investigation determined that a black male suspect approached a 69-year-old employee as she stood behind the counter, and demanded money from the cash drawer, according to Austin.

On Friday, the Prosperity Bank located at 1610 W. North Loop Blvd.in Central Austin was robbed shortly before 1 p.m.

Marlin Police Department Officers, as well as Falls County Sheriff's Deputies, responded to the location. "The suspects then fled the scene running northbound on Lamb Avenue".

POLICE are investigating the circumstances surrounding two separate armed robberies that took place within hours of each other on Sunday.

The suspect is described by police as a man in his 20s or 30s between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall and approximately 200 pounds.
