Team chemistry has Newark Charter softball off to good start

The Vestavia Hills girls soccer team cruised to a 6-1 win over Gadsden City on Tuesday.

In the opener, Finlandia scored six runs in the first inning and never looked back as they won in five innings. On Sunday, she kept the NYU bats in check with a 6-2 win, settling down after allowing two runs in the first inning to toss six scoreless innings after that. She has a strong arm and bat and once she gets the little things worked out will be a major part of this team.
