Saturday morning, an isolated snow shower or flurry rotates through northern NY and northern Vermont, but most are drier with breaks of sun possible by the afternoon. As for any kind of accumulation, at best it seems a coating to an inch could occur mainly south and east of the Philadelphia area, and also primarily on non-paved surfaces. Clouds will slowly clear the rest of the day after the snow moves out. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible. Roads will be wet and slick. Another system will go to our south on Friday and could graze far southern Iowa with light snow.
Saturday morning temperatures could get as cold as low 20's. "Our temperatures on Wednesday will be in the 40s-which would be great in January, but not so great in April".
Yet another snow chance is on the way Sunday morning leading to more light accumulations. Stay weather aware heading into this weekend, especially if you have travel plans.
The temperature Saturday should rise to a high of about 40.
After Monday, weather.com is forecasting a considerable amount more rain throughout the middle of April, with a current forecast expecting rain for seven straight days beginning on April 12. If overnight lows drop below 19 degrees the record low will break for Columbia, showing just how unusually cold it will be across mid-Missouri.
Saturday will give us a chance to clean up and allow the streets and sidewalks to dry before the next system pushes through on Saturday night and Sunday morning. After a mild to cool Thursday with partly cloudy skies, Friday could see more rain, snow and low temperatures.
Tuesday night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 35.
Tuesday: Mostly sunny, high near 41. If that game isn't snowed or rained out, the temperature should be about 46 degrees when it starts.
