Five ways the Galaxy S9 might be better than iPhone X

There have been some rumours about the Galaxy Note 9 housing an in-display fingerprint sensor but as of now the reports do not show us anything and most probably the South Korean company will go with a scanner placed at the rear alongside the camera setup. However, if you are addicted to using a phone case, you will feel lucky to have premium design smartphone under protection.

Samsung's tech for AR Emoji is also quite different (or shall we say cheaper) than Apple's iPhone X, as Apple uses true depth camera to take many data points of your face. However, Samsung made the fingerprint reader much more accessible on the Galaxy S9 by repositioning the reader to below the camera module.

"This is potentially a tough sell for Samsung but the real goal of the S9 is making an already good product even better as Samsung takes the fight to Apple", he said.

The S9 comes with 4GB RAM with options of 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage models whereas the S9+ offers 6GB RAM with the same storage options. The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are to go on sale on March 16 globally, and the company will likely follow a similar date for the Indian market.

The S9+ has a dual camera, but both models of the S9 have Dual Aperture.

Customers who pre-order the new Galaxy S9 and S9+ from T-Mobile will get half off the S9 or $360 off the S9+ via bill credits with an eligible trade-in. In addition to this, the Samsung Galaxy S9 features an enhanced entertainment experience with 2 front-facing powerful stereo speakers powered by AKG, surround sound supported by Dolby Atmos, and a refined 5.8-inch edge-to-edge Infinity Display.

Even though Galaxy S9 boasts a "reimagined" camera and can record 4K video at 60 frames per second, it can only do so for five minutes at max. Both these devices are rumored to be launch on March 6th in India. There is no detail about the booking amount and availability of the phone and rest of the details will be unveiled at the launch event.

"Add one of the best smartphone zooms and a capable bokeh simulation mode to the mix, and the Galaxy S9 Plus is hard to ignore for any photo-minded smartphone user".

Captured on photo the digital camera will be 13 megapixel and the smartphone's OS will upgraded to Android 7 instead of 8 Nougat Oreo.

The S9+ can also record in super slow motion, at 960fps at 720p. It comes with very minimal bezels on all the four sides and offers highest screen-to-body ratio ever seen on a smartphone. The Galaxy S9 Plus display is a large 6.2-inches, which is somewhat bigger than the 5.8-inch wraparound screen of the iPhone X.
