Manchester United vs Chelsea

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is under pressure to show a more daring approach and get the best out of Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez for a grudge match against Chelsea's Antonio Conte on Sunday.

"Three points are very important for us, but also for United".

When Matic completed his move to Old Trafford in August, Conte admitted that it was a "big loss" for Chelsea, creating huge questions as to why he was sold if the manager wanted to keep him.

When asked about the team news, Conte confirmed that the likes of Luiz, Bakayoko and Barkley are the sure absentees while the rest of the players are fit.

"Against Manchester City, it will be like the game against Barcelona - they like to have the ball.

If he stays out it would be better", Conte told reporters on Friday.

"I don't know but I'm not anxious", Mourinho was quoted by Metro Sports.

The arrival of Nemanja Matić last summer sent a message that Pogba would be given a more forward-thinking role in the Manchester United first-team - something that allowed the 34-year-old to thrive at Juventus.

The Red Devils lost 1-0 to the Premier League title holders earlier in the season following Alvaro Morata's second-half victor at Stamford Bridge back in October.

"We now play Brighton when we were supposed to play West Ham and we don't know when we'll play West Ham". The run for a place in the Champions League is open, so we must pay great attention.

"But if you're going to criticise Pogba for playing in a midfield two against a Spurs team at Wembley where they will dominate possession, obviously he didn't affect the game".

"Against Barcelona it was also a great performance from the team, almost ideal". However, he can put Alvaro Morata in the starting squad as he performed up to mark in the last game against Manchester United.

Chelsea's only goal in four Premier League fixtures at Old Trafford was scored by Didier Drogba in a 1-1 draw in October 2014.

The France global scored his first goal in Chelsea colours against Hull City in the FA Cup last Friday.

Jose Mourinho is refusing to get dragged into more heat between Chelsea boss Antonio Conte and himself ahead of this weekend's clash. Herrera could be absent for up to six weeks with the hamstring injury he suffered at Sevilla in midweek but Mourinho claims he might not have repeated the tactic had the Spanish midfielder been available.
