With Bradford ailing, Vikings bring up QB Kyle Sloter

Few teams have the defensive line personnel to handle what Pittsburgh has on the offensive line. "This game will be much more of a litmus test for the revamped offensive line to see if they cannot only protect Sam Bradford but get a push in the running game and create lanes for Dalvin Cook".

Regardless of how shitty the Steelers looked last week, and they did look shitty, they still won the game over the Cleveland Browns which makes the problems that presented themselves easier to deal with.

The Minnesota Vikings beat the New Orleans Saints 29-19 in the home opener. But Brown has proven time after time that he can get open against just anyone with four straight 100-catch seasons. That's especially true for the Steelers, who really didn't play many of their front-line players in the preseason this year.

Pittsburgh defensive end Stephon Tuitt's left biceps is healing and he may be ready to play against Minnesota on Sunday. He did do some individual, however. "(Roethlisberger) starts moving around, this guy's gone, so you've got to find him and hopefully put some pressure on Ben". You'll also see some occasional blitzes up the middle.

The 24-year-old played in all 16 games during his rookie campaign, making five starts.

Haden ended the game with six tackles, one defended pass, and a sack.

He was then considered a game-time decision. Wilcox was on the field for 20 snaps against the Browns.

"Me personally, I feel like I'm going to do it", Dupree said.

Veteran tight end Vance McDonald was held out of practice on Thursday and Friday due to a back ailment.

The Vikings defense/special teams is another to consider sitting in Week 2.

"Cleveland did a good job as far as attacking them, a lot of different looks", Zimmer said.

Last weekend, Haden was taken advantage of by Coleman on more than one occasion with the receiver's flashy speed. Barr, the Vikes' starting strong side linebacker, is a key member of the defense and is expected to play Sunday.

While with the St. Louis Rams, Bradford suffered a torn left ACL in the seventh game in 2013 and missed the rest of the season. Minnesota is fully expecting Bradford to be under center for this game, but there is concern about the status of his knee.

Joe Haden's return to being a relevant cornerback in the AFC begins in Pittsburgh against the Vikings on Sunday. Did Not Participate In Practice. Out.

Safety J.J. Wilcox is questionable after going through the league's concussion protocol. Limited Practice Participation. Questionable.
