Traditionally, WWDC only sees software updates. The company also bumped up graphics specs with an Intel HD Graphics 515, gave the entire line 8GB of RAM and rolled out a new rose gold model.

And that feeling will probably continue this year, as the iMac gets a sibling, and a more powerful sibling at that.

As far as pricing and availability is concerned, you can order the 10.5-inch iPad Pro in silver, space gray, gold and rose gold colors with a starting price of $649 (US) for the 64GB with Wi-Fi model and $779 (US) for the 64GB Wi-Fi + Cellular model. Apple CEO Tim Cook unveiled the latest operating system for Mac computers.

"We aren't going to use an entry level configuration", the executive said. "That's set to change in December when the iMac Pro launches with a 27" 5K display; 8-, 10-, or 18-core Intel Xeon processors; and Vega graphics.

The updated iMac features Kaby Lake processors up to 4.2GHz with Turbo Boost up to 4.5GHz and supports up to twice the memory as the previous generation. Not content with updating the regular line of iMac all-in-one computers, it's also super-charging the iMac for professionals. But inside, they've been completely overhauled with up to 3x the graphics power, a big processor boost, and the best and brightest 4K and 5K displays Apple has ever made. The company recently updated the Mac Pro with slightly newer processors, but aside from that minor upgrade, its high-end systems haven't been refreshed since 2013. There are a whole bunch of new features in iOS 11.

Siri also got an update - the virtual assistant can translate English into five different languages: Chinese, French, German, Italian and Spanish, with more coming in the future. The iOS 11's camera now has new effects, including long exposure and replay. This week, this included "Minecraft: Pocket" and a new version of "Goat Simulator", an oddball game that's exactly what its name sounds like.

High Sierra's new Safari features Autoplay Blocking to prevent those irritating online video advertisements playing and Intelligent Tracking Prevention. SSD storage options are now up to 50 percent faster, and iMac comes with Thunderbolt 3, the most powerful and versatile port ever. You can now buy a 4K 21.5-inch model for the first time.

With a new watch face, Apple Watch promises to learn about your routines to figure out what information to display on the watch face. Other improvements include new Music app, multiple workouts in a single session and gym equipment support.
